What Are the SC Awards?
The SC Awards are cybersecurity’s most prestigious award program, recognizing and honoring outstanding innovations, organizations, and leaders that are advancing the practice of information security. Our mission is to highlight the outstanding achievements of individuals, teams, and organizations, and unveil their success stories to our audience of 1.2 million IT and cybersecurity professionals.
Who can enter?
The Resilient CISO category of the SC Awards is open to CISOs from information security vendors, service providers and professionals with current operations in North America (U.S. and Canada).
How Are SC Award Winners Decided?
Nominations for the Resilient CISO category are reviewed by a judging committee drawn from the CRC community. Judges assess leadership impact (board and peer influence), continuity and recovery outcomes, team and culture development, end-user/customer awareness, contributions to the wider ecosystem, and concrete resilience initiatives (e.g., continuous red-teaming, chaos engineering, supply-chain risk practices).
Are there fees to enter the SC Awards?
There is no fee to submit a nomination to the Resilient CISO category in the 2026 SC Awards.
